Today we remember the Battle of Hogwarts
Tomorrow is May 2nd, the day the battle of Hogwarts 15 years ago. The day that Harry, Ron and Hermione snuck back into Hogwarts and destroyed the Horcruxes. The day that Harry finally defeated Voldemort. We remember everyone who fought in the war and all those who died. Fred Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Colin Creevey, Severus Snape and more. May we raise our wands to those who fought and died. Remember, remember May 2nd 1998.
AND THEY WERE PERFECT PARENTS TOO!
They were fiercely proud of their children’s accomplishments.
They played together as a family.
They went to school plays, parent/teacher interviews, and helped with school work.
They co-parented, Gomez was just as active in raising their children as Morticia was.
When their children wanted something that they disapproved of, they were disappointed but relented because it would make them happy.
Plus, all TV married couples kind of hate each other and argue 90% of the time for the sake of comedy, but these two have always seemed to be forever and always in love, which is kind of sweet.
And if that’s only possible because they’re weirdos, what does that say about us?

I love them in that they had basically been married for years and were still madly passionate about each other
and how yes, they encouraged their children to do anything they wanted, but to do it the best that they could
they were intensely proud, always
and they helped others so much

Honestly though Morticia and Gomez’s relationship was and is amazing. I actually watched one of the Adam’s Family movies Sunday and it was amazing.
They’re weird - though I use that term lightly - and dark, but there are many values in the way that the Adam’s family works that are seriously admirable; their passion and everlasting devotion to each other being only one of few.
